Health Funds & HICAPS
We accept all major Australian health funds. HICAPS is available at the clinic for on-the-spot claiming — bring your health fund card and you only pay the gap on the day.
Chiropractic services may also be claimable under a GP Management Plan (GPMP) if you have a chronic condition. Ask your GP if this applies to you.

What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your Medicare card and private health insurance card. If you have any relevant X-rays, scans, or referral letters, bring those too. Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being treated — shorts for lower body, a singlet or loose top for upper body and spine.
Do you accept all health funds?
Yes. We accept all major Australian health funds including Medibank, Bupa, HCF, NIB, and many more. We have HICAPS available for on-the-spot claiming, so you only pay the gap at your appointment — no waiting for reimbursements.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to see our chiropractors. You can book directly online at any time. If you've been referred by your GP or a specialist, bring that referral along to your first appointment.
How long is my first appointment?
Initial consultations are typically 45–60 minutes. This allows enough time for a thorough health history, physical assessment, and your first treatment. Follow-up appointments are usually 30–45 minutes.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your practitioner will take a detailed health history and ask about your symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. They'll then perform a physical assessment and discuss their findings with you before beginning treatment — with your consent at every step.
Is parking available?
Yes. Street parking is available on Brown Street and surrounding streets in Ashfield. The clinic is also easily accessible from Ashfield train station on the Inner West line.
Are your practitioners registered with AHPRA?
Yes. All our chiropractors are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and comply with all professional standards and continuing education requirements.
Can I claim on Medicare?
Chiropractic care can be claimed under a GP Management Plan (GPMP/Team Care Arrangement). Speak to your GP if you have a chronic condition that may qualify. Chiropractic is not covered under standard Medicare.
